Commercial and Fleet

Starlink Mounting for Commercial and Fleet Operators

A Starlink fleet setup is only as reliable as the mount holding each dish. Air Vision Systems designs Starlink mounts in New Zealand for working vehicles, machinery and site buildings, and quotes mixed fleets vehicle by vehicle, so every roof gets the mount that suits it.

Why Fleet Mounting
Is Different

Why Fleet Mounting Is Different

A dish on a house roof deals with the weather. A dish on a working vehicle deals with the weather plus vibration, corrugations, dust, mud, branches and years of UV, often across a mixed fleet where no two roofs are the same. A tractor cab, a ute with a rack, a logging truck and a site cabin each need a different fixing.

That is why we quote fleets per vehicle type rather than selling one mount for everything. It is also why we set out, on each industry page, what our mounts have been assessed to handle and what they have not, so you can make the call with the facts in front of you.

Choose Your Industry

Each industry page covers the problem, the mounts we recommend, the technical figures, installation notes and a fleet FAQ.

Agriculture and Horticulture

Tractors, farm utes, sprayers and side-by-sides, plus sheds and pump houses.

Civil and Construction

Tripods for day one, fixed mounts for site offices, and mounts for site utes.

Forestry

Harvesters, logging trucks, crew utes, landings and crib rooms, and how Starlink copes with tree cover.

Emergency Services

Response vehicles, and mounts that sit alongside light bars and aerials.

Marine and Aquaculture

Work boats, barges and shore bases.

Utilities and Lines

Line trucks, service vehicles and remote substations.

Mining and Quarrying

Site vehicles, plant and site offices.

Council and Regional Fleet

Council vehicles and regional service fleets.

Our Fleet Mounting Range

MountBest for
Starlink Mini roof rack mount (two-rail or single-rail)
Utes, trucks and side-by-sides that already have a roof rack, tray rack or raised cab rack. Clamps to the rails, so there is no drilling.
Steel roofs with no rack. Use with eight or four 88 mm magnets, plus a safety tether.
Bonded roof mount
Fibreglass and composite cab roofs, with no drilling into the cab.
Starlink Mini bolt-down mount
Site cabins, sheds, crib rooms and raised racks on machinery.
Busy site offices and buildings that need the larger dish and router.
Temporary setups on open ground, from day one on a new site.

We also supply power solutions and extension cables to suit 12 V and 24 V vehicles, generators and site power.

Engineering You Can Check

Km/h

Our mounts are designed in-house and assessed by computer simulation under defined test conditions.

The two-rail roof rack mount and the Starlink Mini bolt-down mount have both been modelled in wind of 252 km/h, the threshold of a Category 5 hurricane. Each industry page lists the figures that apply to its mounts, and says plainly where figures are not yet listed. The full reports are on our engineering reports page.

These assessments support the design and are not a substitute for vehicle-specific, site-specific or regulatory certification.

FAQs

Common Questions

Helpful answers about choosing the right Starlink accessories for your setup.

Can one order cover a mixed fleet?

Yes. Fleet quotes commonly mix utes, tractors, trucks and specialist vehicles in one order, each with its own mount.

Can you confirm the fit before we order?

Yes. Send us a photo of each roof type and we will confirm the mount and position before anything ships.

Can orders be supplied in stages?

Yes. We can schedule supply around vehicle availability, so the whole fleet does not have to stop at once.

Do you work with council and agency procurement?

Yes. Contact us with your procurement requirements and we will work through them with you.

Which vehicles can take the magnetic mount?

Only vehicles with a steel roof. Use it with eight or four 88 mm magnets, plus a safety tether. For aluminium, fibreglass or composite roofs, use the roof rack or bonded roof mount instead.

How have the mounts been tested?

By computer simulation of airflow and structural loads under defined test conditions. Each industry page lists the figures for its mounts, and the full reports are on our engineering reports page.
